Default OH crappie 2/3/15

Fished from 1500-1630. Caught about 22 with a few really small ones and kept 11. Caught another 16" that weighed 2.4 lbs (about .5 lbs larger than the last one).

Used minnow on the Kentucky rig. Usually catch 95% of the fish on the bottom hook but yesterday caught about half on the top hook (not sure what that means). Caught fish from 23-30 FOW but most were in the 25' range. The wind was blowing pretty good, which I think helps. Water temp was 45.

Good lord that's a Pig! Congrats on the catches. I have been once this winter and it was way to windy to have a good time.

Great catch. Yeah a little wind helps that's for sure.

Two trips in a row producing a 16" Crappie?! Way to go man, that's awesome.
