Default Fun on OH

Well, that was an unproductive three hours on Drakes Creek this morning.
Looking for stripers, I put down 5 rods with shiners and jigged a spoon with another.
Caught one small blue cat. Marked a lot of fish suspended and on the bottom in water from 20 to 34 feet deep, lots of bait, lots of fish, no takers.

Didn't get too far out in the lake as there were whitecaps rolling out there.

Tough out there today. I tried Williamsport but couldn't fish...even from the bank.

You should have tried the main channel not the creek and the eight inch shad are back hanging around the lock 3 ramp.

The main channel had three foot rollers and whitecaps.

That's not good conditions for old guys like me, that's for the young and tough guys that wear cowboy hats. It's just like riding a buckin bronco and that white cowboy hat would fit right in!

The boat show is coming to town in a couple of months. They always have a trout pond for the kiddies. Not a sign of wind or wake there.
