The base plate is 1/4" Starboard and permits the mount to used with existing holes in the boat floor.

The brackets are made from 1/2" Starboard and keep the tank from moving laterally,

The rubber and stainless washers keep the tank from coming out of the mounting bracket without damaging the tank.
