Default Wilderness systems Kayak

Found one for sale and it's the Tarpon 100. Is the 10' boat large enough for a person that is 6'3" and about 220lb? I like it just want to make sure it's big enough.

That would limit you to about 100 more lbs of extra weight before the boats maxed out. Gear, rod holders, batteries, anchor etc.

I usually go minimal in my kayak but that's because I don't have the storage room. If I get something that I can accommodate all my trays and more that three rods I will carry more with me. I really like the Big Rig or the Lure13.5 but just can't decide if I want to spend the money just yet.

It will work fine (230 lb here). My buddy had one and he is 260+ but shorter. I had no issues at 5'11" when I have borrowed it.

That said, it is a wet ride. Also the seat locks you into one position. Not my first choice for all day floats, unless you plan to wade some or sit with feet hanging over the side (aka side saddle, great in the summer time).

I'm guessing you should be able to stand?

no standing. Doesn't have flat deck/standing area. Even if it did, I think it is too narrow to stand, although that makes it faster.

That is what I needed to know. I want to be able to stand and fish on the next kayak I get, thank you.

Look at the Ride 115, good room, good weight capacity, can stand up in it, comfy seat, but the hull weighs about 80#'s. I can load it/haul it in my Ford Sport Trac w/o issue.
