Thumbs up Old Hickory Lake fishing report 8/24/2014

I went back out this morning and caught one small LM bass and that was it for the day. It was a pretty sunrise with a little to no wind and the water was a little cloudy ,but the bait are still there. So till the next time out good luck fishing and GOD BLESS..............WOODY http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=...80622054434336

Nice fish Woody. Congrats on the catch. How do you keep from burning up in those hip boots?

Regards

I have to wear them because of a hole in my ankle that I can't get wet when unloading and loading my boat. I just ordered the TM boat box and floats to try out......................woody

Nice Woody! I went out Sat. morning after that storm cell passed by and there was tons of bait back there. Tried some top water poppers and flukes with no success. Fish were hitting the bait hard though. I had my daughter with me so she got to see the fish feeding. Our highlight, since we didn't catch anything, was seeing a hawk of some kind circle a couple times with a 6-8" fish in its talons. Pretty cool!

Default woodys fish report for 8-24-14

even though you have the hole on your ankle, why can't you use boots that are made that go up to your knee and still fish and no water to get on your ankle. They wouldn't stick out and more presentable while fishing.I have fished with you when yo were in md and the higest the water came was about 6 inches and no wetness for your ankle.
