Default Jpp stripers

Well I didn't go to carthage. Ill save that for a full day sometime soon. Tore em up on Jpp this afternoon. Caught 10 plus 2 bucket mouths between 3:30 and 6:30. Biggest fish was 13 pounds today with another a solid 10 and several 5-8 pounds. Mostly stripers with a couple hybrids. Biggest was actually a hybrid. It was hotter than a whore in church but a ton of fun. I'd post pix but y'all know what they look like. Have a great weekend everyone! Jason.

I can't tell you how disappointed I was when opened this thread.

You're talking about fish.

Awesome man! Sounds like you had a blast. What's the pattern? Looking forward to chasing them with you when I finally get home.

Sent you a PM Alex.

Thanks for the replies guys. Hoping to go to Carthage soon and hook into a 30+ pounder. I've been told some 20-25 pound fish are fairly plentiful below old hickory and I even have several way-points that were given to me for that area but I am a creature of habit. Once I figure out a way to boat fish, it's hard for me to abandon it to go try to learn a new area/method. But... I can be on the stones below JPP and up to the cumberland beloh OH in about 5 minutes from my house so I'm going to give it a shot soon. Confidence is everything and I'd be a bit lost on the river I'm afraid. I need to MAN-UP!

No way to get lost on the river, you can't go but two directions, upstream or down. When I locked through about 4 months ago, I was kinda shocked at how narrow the Cumberland is below the dam. You can nearly cast from one bank to the other.

Nice post ! What location on JPP were you fishing? What was your primary bait of choice? I look forward to seeing that 25-30+ lb pic of you soon. Keep the post coming!
