Default KBFTN Tournament this evening 7/22/14 EDITED with Results

This evening we are having a tournament out of Smith Springs on Percy Priest this will be our 6th event of the year.
Entry is $10 with optional big fish $5.
The Hawg Trough Challenge was won at the last event so we are starting a new challenge, so if you are interested please bring an extra $20, and I will give more details at the Captains meeting.
This tournament is for black bass only using artificial lures only. This is a paddle craft only event. 100% cash payout. Registration begins at 4:45 and closes at 5pm, so please arrive as early as you can to get setup. Check-in will be 8:15 unless noted otherwise in the mandatory Captains meeting at 5pm.

The official measuring device is the Hawg Trough carried by Hook 1.

These events are catch photo and release.

Jimmy has requested that I come out cheer for him. Is that against the rules?

I wish I could make this one but I'll be busy packing up since we're headed to Gulf Shores tomorrow. Be safe and good luck to everyone!

We had 21 anglers show last night. The fishing was tough despite the two good fish being caught. Those who found fish done well, and those who didn't, well there is always next-time. Congratulations to Michael Ernst on his second win of the season, Troy White had his best finish of the year with 2nd place, and taking home $105 for big fish. Justin Brandon had his first cash of the year, and Scott Fujimura has been very consistent in almost every event he has fished in. There was some shifting in the points standings, but Craig Dye has had 1st place in the points standings on lockdown for some time...

The next event is this Saturday July 26th out of Rockland on Old Hickory. Registration starts at 6:30pm. Be sure to stop by Hook 1 for their Christmas in July sale running for 24hrs on Saturday.

Those who depend on luck may be affected by my presence.

Those with fishing skills will continue to catch.

Last night was my first tournament out of a yak. I didn't blank and had a good time so Ill call it a success lol. Congrats to those that brought home a few bucks.

On a side note, I may have been the one that looked like they didn't have a PFD on. I wear a small "fanny pack" type inflatable so it may not have been visible. Just for the record.

Can't wait for the next one.
