Default Top 5 Favorite Trout Magnet Colors

What are your top 5 favorite colors for trout? I went trout fishing yesterday (water was clear) and one of my buddies did well with a chartreuse tm which I haven't ever had much luck on... My favorites are
1. Bison
2. White
3. Salmon Fix
4. Black/Green
5. Bulldog

I would love to see your top 5 favorites

Bulldog, bison, brown, green/black (looks like catalpa worm), meal worm

Only female members in my family would use pink.

White or pink with black jig head
White or pink with chartreuse jig head
all in faster water

in slower water I will try the above and then go to darker colors

I only fish for trout.
Since returning from a month of fishing in Arkansas,Colorado and New Mexico,I have been experimenting with using two floro's at the same time. While fishing the San Juan I was not having a lot of hits.I decided to put a 6' piece of T M floro on and then I tied a 3-4' piece of Seaguar floro on.That is when I started having hits with just about any color of T M i was using. This past week I was able to fish the Caney for the first time in a while and I did the same. The person I was with fished the same colors as I did but I used the new floro set-up.He caught 8 while I was able to catch 40.
Whatever color works for you is the one to use.But if you get a chance try using a longer floro especially in slow water.

Couple questions if you don't mind:
What are the specs on your line and floro topshot (example: both 6 lb lines or 4 to 8)?
What knot are you using on the floro to line?

All are 2 lb test

6' piece of Trout Magnet floro
3'-4' piece of Seaguar floro
Sometimes I will make the Seaguar longer if I am going to try new colors or combinations which calls for a lot of additional tying.

I just use a simple surgeons knot.

Ed are you using two Trout magnets at the same time? The way I'm reading this. Do you tie both leaders to the main line.

I think he means using two leaders to one trout magnet.

In fly fishing that would be the same as a 6' trout magnet fluorocarbon line as your leader then a 3'-4' section of Seaguar fluorocarbon as a tippet section to the trout magnet all tied to the 2lb SOS.
