Default Elk River Plan

Looking to run the Elk in kayaks from Farris Creek Bridge to Old Dam Ford.

TVA is showing 240cfs sluicing and no generation as of late.

Any tips from those who know the river are appreciated. Feel free to PM if necessary.

Thanks

Billy

Are you fly fishing or spin gear?

Travis,

Spinning gear. Ultralight with magnets and #2 line/leader.

Have some small cranks/spoons/inline spinners if the Browns are interested.

Taking the boys, so interested in water hazard info, and of course, any fishing tips, especially for Browns, as we have never caught one.

The Duck has been awesome for us the past few weeks, but we're looking for some new water.

Thanks,

Billy

The magnets will definitely catch fish.

Email or may be easier to call David. He guides the river a lot and can help you on water hazards/concerns.
