Went to Cook on J. Percy Priest Lake Saturday night, to do some trolling for hybrids. They weren't anywhere to be found. I did manage to catch several white bass, gills, catfish and some goats. My phone died so i went back to the truck and charged for a little while. Talked to a guy at the dock that was ctching hybrids up the lake on chicken livers. I decided to paddle out to the three bouys toward Elm Hill. Did a little bass fishing using soft plastics. Hooked 8 landed 6. Smallest being 15" largest being 16". Where were these bass Tuesday, I paddle over there and fished it too during the tournament

That's quite a mixed bag. Too bad you didn't find the Hybrids. I love trolling out of my kayak too. Were you trolling crankbaits?

Speaking of chicken livers for Hybrids. I fished Williamsport Saturday and a guy told me that the Hybrids are fed turkey livers while they're raised so they tend to work really well to catch them in those lakes. I'm not a live bait fisherman but I found that interesting.

I went out there Sunday night from 11:30pm until Monday morning around 6am. I caught 4 small largemouth immediately (within the first 10-15 casts). I thought to myself well this is going to be epic. No other fish were caught for the next 6 hours. I thought you may have headed over there for the tournament, I miss my Hobie.

I did , to the three bouys, but if I knew we were that close to Cooks. I would of paddle over there right off the bat. Then worked my way back to Hamilton

Yeah, we were real close. Knowing my luck I would have paddled over there and not caught a thing. Well tournament wise I didn't catch anything anyway. Will you be at the Tournament tomorrow at Lock 4?

I mean today. Wow it's late.
