Default JPP bank fishing help

Planning to go fishing on Free Fishing Day on Saturday on Percy Priest. I live in Hermitage, and I would like to find a spot to fish from the bank for bluegill, shellcrackers, etc. I plan to take a friend's grown son with me and we are going to be fishing early, around 6AM to beat the rush and hopefully get some fish cooked up for lunch.

Can anyone recommend an easily accessible spot that won't be overrun with people that I stand a good chance of catching a mess of bluegill early?

Thanks for your help!

Vivrett creek would be a good place. I think they have a fishing pier with brushpiles around it. Better get there early.
