Default Quick trip Harpeth

Went to the Harpeth this AM for an hour. Took the fly rod again and managed to catch 2 Kentucky's on a Mylar fly minnow imitation I tied last week. They wanted nothing to do with poppers today.

Beautiful scenery! I have yet to return to the Harpeth after floating about a mile of it once, mid Summer, and getting skunked. I need to go back and try it again.

When you come up on that grassy stuff growing in the Harpeth like you showed in your picture, throw right in the edges of it...that is where I have caught some of my best Harpeth bass. Glad you had a good trip!
