Default Caney Fork:::: Amazing

Pictures say better than words.
Over 10 hours, two days, we caught over 90 fish. Some of all flavors.
Walleye
Striper
White Bass
Crappie
Brown Trout
Brook Trout
Skipjack

Attached are the highlights.
I did take a video of the 20.5 inch trout.
Going to try to post to Youtube later.

This Memorial Day rocked. I hope all of you had as much luck.

Awesome pics. I've been fishing at night on the Caney for two days and did nowhere near as well as you all did. I'm jealous. Haha. Nice Trout!

What rigs/bait were you using?

Great photos, especially the trout that took flight. They sure are slippery.

Excellent catch. That's some consistently big weight in those pics. For some strange reason, the pictures I like best are the ones where the fish decides he's not ready for the picture and tries to leave. It always adds a bit of chaos in the boat and laughter. Thanks for the report and pictures.

Default Days

There were not many people there. Thousands in canoes. Literally the surface was red, blue and green with plastic. For the fish it must have looked like night or a bizarre rainbow.

On Saturday maybe two other boats filtering in and out. Monday maybe three but they did not linger long.

If my wife had not threatened to de-pole me = take my fishing poles away, I would have stayed all day on Monday.

I'm still giggling about it.

By the way I reviewed the trout video I took. Might not be appropriate for most audiences. I actually was fishing with two rods and while I was fighting the trout I hooked a skipjack-zilla on the other. I managed to fight both and get both in but it was hailing profanity, my friends.
Cranking one rod, holding it with my legs and finessing the other with my teeth...... no pretty.

LMAO!!!!! ive got several fishing videos like that! i have to loop some music over them to be able to show them to the rest of the family!
Non-fisherman dont understand that catching a big fish/memorable fight always requires a big, loud Letter BOMB along with laughing and hollering! LMAO
Great pics! Great Weekend!

Awesome trip...

That river is my favorite place to fish and have fished it for many years. Hard to believe its only had brown trout length regs for maybe 10 years or so and look at what it puts out.

I am returning to Canada next week. I'll try to get some video then as well. I will certainly try not to curse too much.... but I fear.... failulre is on the horizon.
