Default Old Hickory 'gill bite 5/20

Fished two hours yesterday morning in Cedar Creek area of OH. We found a big bed of small bluegills and quit when we hit 50. We didn't keep any of them ... they need to grow some more!

But it was fun. I switch hit on them between spinning and flyrod and they didn't seem to care what color. We picked up a couple bass on the points but they were small too.

Nice the bite is on.

I found some small ones Sat and hope to see big ones
soon haha if I can figure out where the h*ll they are at.

I will say that I caught all on a trout mag and have been speculating whether these guys on the forums were just fan boys or not but am now a true believer as I caught over 75 on overcast Saturday and 50 or more on Sunny Sunday but have yet to find the BIG ones and I know OH has them because in the 90's I caught one around Rockland Creek at 1.5 lbs.

I caught everyone of them on a trout magnet, best damn bream bait ever. Don't know why they don't call them bream magnets. I catch more bream than trout on them for sure... LOL
