Can't figure them out
1 week ago Saturday my wife and I caught 17 catfish on OH between 2 - 8 pounds each using minnows on floats in 1 spot. We had set out to try to catch crappie that day... Yesterday afternoon, I took my sons to the same spot hoping to get them into the catfish, and we caught 1 bass and 1 bluegill. Gave up and went to another spot and did manage to catch a few bass and 2 crappie, all in about 1 ft. of water next to the bank. I hope to someday be able to figure out what to fish for based on all the different conditions. Everyone here provides great information, but I guess I don't have it all figured out yet!
