Default Tennessee River I-40 bridge area

After looking at the radar and seeing the rain to the east of us we decided to go to the river. Only our 2nd time there since moving to TN. Launched at Cuba Landing and got some pointers on rigs for bottom fishing from a couple people there that helped out a lot. It's so nice to bottom fish and drift without snags that was a great help. We fished the center and green bouy side with several passes, weights on the bottom and hooks set at 1-3 up. Got them all on night crawlers. The 2 biggest were 7.5 lbs a piece. 13 blues and 1 channel. Great day out on the river! We'll be ready for a fish fry in no time if we keep this up.

Nice catch. I have fished out of Cuba many times but never for catfish even though I've caught several there on crankbaits while bass fishing.

Great catch. My sister had a camp down that way years back. At times my nephew would rent a pontoon and we would "bump the bottom" there. That was a lot of fun and just an easy fun way to fish.

Regards
