Default VFW Lake 5-02-2014

Got to VFW before wind kicked up and for two hours caught a ton of 8-9 inch Gills. A lot of fun at a pretty place. Fish are not on bed yet. Hoping we get a break from all this wind soon.

Regards

Nice gills, Alpha and X2 on the wind. A buddy of mine says this is normal spring weather but I don't remember it being this windy the last 2 years.

We had some wind last year but not like this...and 2 years ago the wind wasn't bad at all.

very nice gills Mr Randy!!, I too noticed the wind seemed to blow harder this year specially since I took the UL to fish 90% of the time it just makes it harder, I hope it dies down soon so I can fish out of the yak more often!
