Default New member and angler!!!

Hey all...been in TN for close to 5 years and recently got back into fishing. Did some when i was younger but never caught anything...even so bad as fishing at a west coast fish hatchery and didnt catch anything...lol. Went to the Duck River below Normandy Dam and caught a 14 in Rainbow and from then on ive been hooked ever since!!! Been spending countless hrs on the internet, reading everything i can find.!!! Tried Bedford Lake and Marrowbone Lake without much success but caught bluegill and crappie out of Woods recently!!!...Hope to get some good info and maybe meet some other like minded ppl here in TN!!!

Welcome, Crash. Those TWRA lakes can be tough sometimes in my experience. I've never torn 'em up there, but have heard good reports where others have. This forum is definitely a good place to "get some good info and meet like minded people" for sure. CHEERS

Welcome to the forum neighbor, lots of good folks here great advice too, Bedford lake can be tough to fish and IMHO it gets worse every year, too much moss/algae and it grows earlier than on Normandy, it has not been stocked in years except for catfish and bluegill, those bass know by make and model every brand of bait known to man, Crappies can also be hard to catch since they ar also pressured hard, not many and the size is not what you can find on Normandy, but still a fun and beautiful little place to get away!

Thanks everyone. I went to Bedford Lake and Normandy Dam today in between storms and didnt get a bite whatsoever. Tried different rigs(Carolina, Texas, Drop Shot) as well as different lures(crankbaits, jigs, live bait, spinnerbaits), just couldnt get anything to take anything. Anyone know of any other places that i can fish from the bank thats worth a try?
