Thumbs up old hickory lake fishing report 4/23/2014

I went out this morning for some crappie and the water temp was 64.7 and windy. I started off using a slip float and shiner and caught one crappie under size which I let go then I used a slip float and a chartreuse jig w/ black & chartreuse twister tail. Caught two crappie released one then tried a chartreuse green road runner with a black body chartreuse twister tail and caught 8 crappie released 3 ,caught one big catfish which broke off at the boat and two LM bass one small and one that was 2lbs and released both. In all a great day of fishing, so till the next time out which will be tomorrow good luck and GOD BLESS..................WOODY
