Default Crappie Fishing April 8 and 9 on JPP

Sorry I didn't have time to do a repot earlier. I have been fishing so much that I don't have any time to do anything else but school. Tuesday should have been called Deadliest Catch: Crappie. The wind would pick up 15 miles per hour then calm down suddenly. It would rain off and on. During one of those sudden wind gusts I caught a 14.75 inch black crappie. I used a purple/chart. crappie magnet underneath a float. When the wind would die down I would just cast the magnets. I go 13 keepers out of that.

Wednesday was my birthday. This is birthday crappie year 2. After going to some classes I got to for a few hours. I went to my usual spot and I couldn't draw a strike. I decided to try a new spot that sometimes produces. They would only hit purple and chart. crappie magnets. I got 6 keepers in 3 fow around brush.

Isaac:

Congrats on the huge crappie and Happy Birthday! Great Pic! This week on my two fishing trips, I also used either blue/chartreuse or purple/chartreuse. They would not hit the black/chart jig. Also, I increase the size to 3/32. Fishing should be fantastic this weekend.
