Default TKA Family Fun Day

TKA (Tennessee Kayak Anglers) are trying to concentrate more on what is important.

What is more important than family food and the outdoors? Well you got me.

So they are hosting a TKA Family Fun Day. Everyone is welcome. There will be food (pulled pork, hot dogs, chips, sides, water, soda).

Caney Fork Outdoors, and Hook 1 will be there along with many members to try out different kayaks adult to kids kayaks. This is going to be a relaxing day, about getting the kids on the water, people trying out different kayaks, sitting around, talking and just enjoying being in good company. This will be a great place for those of you who have never been on a kayak to check it out, and get your kids on a kayak to see how they handle it. You never know you may find a new hobby for you and your child to enjoy, or you and your wife, of significant other. Who knows you may just find something for the entire family. This will be a great place to try out many different brands and see what you like or don't like.

Saturday April 12th 10am - everyone leaves or they run us out of the park

Y'all have fun and be safe. I'll be on Reelfoot Lake all weekend, so I'm gonna miss out, unfortunately. Hopefully I'll be able to make the next Middle TN fishing community get-together.

The plan is to meet at the launch at 6:30am Coley Davis Rd access in Bellevue and take out at Newson's Mills. The plan is to meet at the launch at 6:30am. Any and all are welcome.

Launch: 36.076817, -86.964246

Take-out: 36.079490, -86.996056

I'm double checking to see what day they are doing it. Someone said Saturday, and another person said Sunday for the float.

CONFIRMATION THE FLOAT IS SATURDAY WITH THE DETAILS ABOVE

The Family Fun Day is definitely happening Saturday.

Default Enjoyed

I enjoy trying out the kilroy.
The food was good and glad to meet a few people. Now I changed my mind I like the Kilroy but after talking about it. I'll have to go with the Big rig.
Thanks everyone
