My daughters and I fished Whipporwill Saturday evening. The bluegills were a no show again. The bass were active when we got there (3:00 PM), went on a lull, and picked back up around 5:00 PM.

I caught them on a Bison TM, Irish Whiskey slider worm, a green pumpkin SK zero cut in half on a CM jig head, a green pumpkin slider grub on a CM jig head, and a PBNJ SK zero wacky rigged.

They were up shallow especially later in the day as the sun moved lower and some clouds moved in. I caught most of them in a foot of water just outside the moss growing around the lake edge.

I also tried the catfish on CJ's Monster Bait fished on the bottom with no luck.

Glad you got into some fish. It is still a little ways away for them to be killing it. I'm in a hurry for these waters to warm up.
