Default White bass n Battle Creek

Fished Battle Creek at South Pittsburg trib of TN River. Caught many white bass. Kept a limit each, most approx. 16". First time I have been out in a while. Caught on white curly tail jigs and deep running bandit. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1396312508.230163.jpg

Could not get any info on crappie. Should not be long.

The stripe eggs were ripe. Should be good fishing for the next week.

Thought we might have a TARP fish or two. Largest was nearly 17". TARP size is 18. Some big ole white bass to make TARP.

Filleted the fish and cut out the dark meat. Made for some nice looking fillets.

I have had fried stripe many times but broiled is the best. Very very good.
