It was a beautiful afternoon. Very light breeze, hybrids and whites were hitting hard and plenty of crappies too.

Fished with a father and son from Nashville. They had a blast.

For a post cold front day, the fish were very active, water temps were 51-53 degrees.

Tomorrow is going to be a killer day. But I have no reason to go fishing!!!!! Got plenty in the freezer and nobody wanting to go so......

Great conditions but I think there are area wind warnings for tomorrow for gust up to forty with sustained winds of 25-35 MPH. I hope not but I planned my other knee shot for tomorrow hoping Friday would be the good day. Never know about the weather guys...

Woody, I'm fine with just guiding once in awhile.

I do it now just to support my fishing habit. It pays for my gas, lures, accessories, etc.

Plus I get to meet some pretty cool people. The kids can be the best. Teaching them how to reel in fish with different styles of reels, (I use both spinning reels and baitcasters), how to land them when using 10-12 ft rods, and teaching them NOT to reel the fish up to the rod tip, and then hang the fish ten feet up in the air, over the water and watch them flop off.

I don't want a full time job.

Now, I've got to fish OH more and learn it's nuances.

Black and chartreuse tubes and twister tails were the hot color. Acid rain (chartreuse and white) was pretty good too.
