Default Epic day.

Arrived at Normandy early this a.m. and was killing the spots....they were bigger today...between 14 and 16 inches. After catching 23 of them decided to try my walleye hole. I was breaking the cardinal sin of fishing.......never leave a spot your catching fish. After a couple of casts the fight was on. I saw him 4 times before I get get him in the net...and my net was not big enough. After I landed the walleye it was time to leave.....it wasn't going to get any better. All my fish were caught on a Bison colored Trout Magnet using a 1/16 ounce Crappie Magnet Double Cross jig head with 2# test SOS line and 2# test fluorocarbon leader. I only casted maybe 30 times to get 23 spots. They were stacked in there again. The walleye measured 25.5 inches. I weighed it on a scale that had been certified in the past but I am sure it was off some.....but it weighed 8 pounds.....big female. No matter what it weighed I am one happy man!

Regards

Makes me want to cancel my camping trip on Chickamauga this weekend and go to the Duck River.

Nice going, as usual.

You know when Alpha says "EPIC DAY" you have to open and read!!! Awesome eye! To be honest I was hoping you were going to say you caught your limit at Nickajack and they were all 14" to 15". I'm going to be down that way next week, hope to get some fishing in, I'll report what I do if I get a chance.

Nice catch, Randy.

I noticed that the picture was not taken around water. Can't believe you kept it. If you have remorse I can take it off your hands.
