Default Where to buy shiners near Pickwick Dam?

The last time I went to Pickwick tail water with a cast net there was no bait to be found. I'm getting ready for a trip with my dad, who's fresh into retirement. Can anyone point me to a bait shop near the dam where I can buy some shiners to use as a backup?

Thanks!

By the way, HI! To all my fellow TNDEER.com members

The only place I can think of is The Pickwick Store in Counce. It has the BP sign out front.....owned by Roger Gant...the crappie guru. There may or may not be other bait shops open in Counce. They open and then close so fast I can't keep up with them...plus I very rarely buy bait. You may also try a shop that is on the hi-way to Corinth. As you come to the 4 way stop before dam turn right and go about a mile and it is on your left...you can't miss it. But I suspect The Pickwick Store will have what you want. Had to edit my post as I saw you live in Bartlett.

Regards

There also use to be a bait shop in the cypress sided building across from the boat dealer (Counce Marine?) It was on the end of the building along with the restaurant and such. I cannot say if it is still there but they had good live bait many years ago. The BP will probably be your best shot however as they have been there for many many years and have survived when all the other have gone belly up.
