Default Jpp 3-15

Didn't get started till 10:00. Got to try out my new spider rigging method. It can be hectic when they bite good. Caught 11 keepers 5 small yellows lost 2 at the boat. I caught them all in about an hour and 1/2 and I ran out of good bait. (larger minnows) Good first try at the spider rig.

Fished the Suggs/Vivrette creek area.

I'm in the same boat (see what I did there ) with the jigs and spider rigging. Since I've done it this week I haven't had a bite on a jig yet versus a minnow.

We caught all of our fish on jigs. We had minnows in the boat but never used any. Funny how that works, huh?

I did catch one crappie and one yellow on a white/chartreuse CM tipped with minnows. Does that count? LOL
