The Rock Bass Run ( AKA,redeye,goggle eye,black perch) is starting. The next 3 weeks will be the primer for pan fishing on Middle TN Streams!!! The Smallmouth will be getting going also and will probably overshadow these feisty fish.. This week we kept only 16. The Rock Bass were between 6 and 10 inches and only one was a female. Monday 36 in 2 hours. If the run was peaking it could havebeen 60 plus in two hours. Today's warm up may have those big females on the move out of there wintering holes to eddys with small gravel and sand to spawn.
