Default OH crappie

Couldn't take it any longer, so I loaded up the boat picked up some minnows and put in at Cairo to see if I could catch some crappie. I fished creeks from Cairo up, I started out fishing creek channels in 20 to 25 FOW over brush and structure with just a couple gill for the effort, water temps were 40 to 42 there, went further back and it warmed up to 42 to 44. Caught a few more gill then moved on to the next creek. There the water was a couple degree cooler, I fished along a bluff wall tight lining minnows, had some bites but couldn't get a hook in em. I crossed over to docks in the 20 FOW and caught the first of six keepers, put back probably a dozen short fish. All in all it was a good day considering I wasn't thinking I would do well due to the temps in low 40's. I did try shooting some docks for a while but didn't get a bit, even with minnows it was a little wait between bites.

Good luck to all,
Ray

Tried poating some pics but need some help.
