Making my first fishing trip of the year up to Pickwick Dam Saturday morning, the flood gates have been open the whole year but they finally shut them off this morning.
Good luck. I have been fishing there 3 times while the gates were open and not much of anything was happening. But as you know that can change any day. There are a ton of shad in the water but as of last Monday was no evidence of a shad kill.
