Default Beech Lake

I'm going to be in West Tennessee this weekend and I'm thinking about going to Beech Lake for trout. Anyone know anything about this place? Know exactly where they release the trout?

I just had to check because I have never heard of them stocking Trout in Beech before but looks like they did. Just pull into the main entrance and look around. They will have an area netted off somewhere that should be pretty obvious to spot. If I had to guess it will be the cove there at the ramp or a corner there at the dam near the ramp so people have easy access.

I believe you're right riverluver. Just called up there and they have part of the cove netted off for the trout.

And Hammy, I couldn't find that .pdf you were talking about.

Went to Beech Lake this morning. I spent the first hour and a half wading and breaking up the ice (that was no fun). Caught about 20 total and kept the first 7 I got. Caught 1 on a pink TM and the rest on a gold TM. I was the only one catching them until I shared a TM with another guy there and he started catching them too.

Sweet. That TM sure gets them when nothing else will. Good for you passing it on to a fellow angler also. I always have a pack on me, so it doesn't break the budget to share those and help someone out.

Nice of you guys to give out TM's to help others. If you see me out and want to try a color you don't have just ask and if I have it I will be happy to give you a few.

I forgot to mention that I caught a duck too. He decided to cross my line and got his feet tangled up.

I think that's a merganser, they taste lIke hot trash.. I'd let it go too. Looks like they put some decent 'bows wherever you're fishing.

Way to go, that looks like some fun fishing.

Next time you get into them like slip one on your fly rod then fish it the same way.
