Thumbs up old hickory lake fishing report 12/28/2013

I went back out today thinking it was going to be warmer then yesterday and boy were they ever wrong. I started around 8:30 am with a little wind so I went in the cove around from lock 3 ramp to get out of the wind. I started with a slip float with jig and minnow, thinking maybe crappie today. About two hits and I think they were bass and after three hours of fishing. So it was time to go back to the slider jig and I caught one small bass and now I was getting colder and called it a day, so till the next time out..................woody

Glad you got on some fish. I'm with on this cold. I'm still trying to warm up from yesterday.....LOL. I guess a lot of things change with age.

I looked at the weather report earlier in the week and planned my trip today off what they said...55 my rear end. Kept telling myself can't catch them from the couch. Thanks for the report.

I had high hopes for warmer weather also. Good job getting out there Woody and avoiding the skunk. I notice you have a Go Pro mount on the windshield, do you ever do any video?
