Default Jpp 12/28

I apologize if you opened this and were expecting a "use this over there" report. Lol...best i can offer today is a dont use anything i used in any of the places i tried.
Continued marking lots of fish but today i had zero hook ups. Only hits i had came on trolling shad raps. I jigged spoons, twisters, rapalas, blade baits, flukes, live minnows on a down rod. I fished brush, flats, rocks, bluffs, points. Water is still dirty south of the 171 bridge but appeared to clear up as i got closer to the dam.
For the life of me i cant figure out what them fish want or how they want it.
It amazes me the amount of bait and fish that are in that lake though...lol.....yet i cant catch em! ha!

Sorry TN for your luck, I got skunked last weekend.

But today was a little better. I may as well use this thread instead of making another. Hope that is all right.

My son and I started fishing jigs around the 7 mile mark /hole in wall island area. Watched for any seagull activity and nothing. We caught a big white and a LM there and then ran up river past the bridge and the water was very dirty. Nothing there so we ran over to 7 points and caught 2 hybrids and a good crappie. Every thing was scattered and different depths.

Then we ran out to what I call the hotel hump and caught 2 more hybrids and a white and yellow. Then it started sprinkling.

Not the best of day but better than a sharp stick in the eye. LOL

PS released them this time.

Good looking fish. I kept telling myself not to fish south of the bridge this morning but i did it anyways. Next time i will launch closer to the dam in the clearer water.

Good looking fish, Heiny! I'm hoping to finally get back out there in the next couple days.
