Default Jpp 12/23

Overall it was a productive few wind burned hours yesterday. Marked alot of fish and baitfish around the 171 bridge. Caught several nice yellows and a big fat white and lost several other decent fish. After i had my fill of doing donuts down the lake i buzzed back to another place i found crappie, hybrids and whites last winter and the fish were there. Got 4 big white crappie, 2 drum and a few whites. Marked a ton of fish but couldnt get much else going. Tried trolling but couldnt get a good troll with the wind gusting and swirling. But i know where they are at once the water and weather stabilize again. Hopefully by this weekend. All fish came on blade baits.

Is the water high and muddy? I wanted to go today but thought it would be a waist of time.

It was high for winter but still low. Yeah it was certainly dirty. Not chocolate milk dirty but definately dirtier than what it usually is. I could deal with the dirty water and cold but i got fed up trying to control the boat in the wind.

Think I saw you out there. We were tight lining near some bluffs, did you have a dog in boat with you?
