Default JPP crappie

On vacation this week so I set up half a day trip with Brian Carper on JJP. Wasn't sure we were going to do very well with all the rain, cold fronts, wind and cold but to my surprise in 4 hours we put 9 quality keepers in the boat and threw around 10 short fish back. Water was stained, temps were between 44 and 47 degrees. We fished brush and structure in 20 to 25 feet on creek and channel ledges. We tightlined CM in colors blk/ chart, wht/chart, pearl and white. Brian did a great job of finding where the fish were, I think we would have done better if the wind wasn't so stiff. All in all had a great time!

Merry Christmas!
