Default Elk River Float

Looking to maybe float the Elk this weekend from the dam down a few miles.

Anybody have tips on takeouts, putins, navigation, shuttles, or even fishing? Would be our first trip on the Elk.

TVA is showing 2 four hour discharges Friday for 1800 average daily, 1400 or so Saturday.

What's the river like with those flows?

Thanks,

Billy

The dam to Ferris creek bridge is a all day float with no gens running. A half day float is from Ferris to old dam Ford I think is the name. Or from there to the next rd I can't remember its name.

I have never been on it with a Gen running.
