Default Harpeth & McCutcheon Creek Today

Fished the Harpeth this morning with zero results. One guy was by the spillway and caught 4, nobody else caught a single fish.

Fished McCutcheon Creek in the afternoon. 5 or 6 fishermen, nobody had more than 2 fish. I caught 1 on a white rooster tail.

Poor fishing at best.

Pookie I don't know how much you fish at McCutcheon Creek but I have watched that mass of humanity a couple of times....LOL. There is not much room there to cast if more than a couple are around....and seems a considerable amount of those fish are caught the day they are put in....I know a ton of folks are there when the truck gets there. I do like to go there when the weather is so horrible no one else is there......gives me room to cast. I don't know where you live but Normandy is a great place to catch a ton of stockers from now up to early July.

Regards

I'm about wrapped up on fishing stocked trout in two trips. I remember as a kid, going to the boat show and catching trout in the stocked pond that was always there. I don't see much difference in it.

Has anyone ever fished the creek that runs through King's Creek golf course. I always wanted to take a rod and reel when golfing there. Beautiful water.
