Question OH Sauger trip !! 12-4-13 <'TK><

Eat your Heart Out FishfinderGeneral !! <'TK><
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A fellow Member FishingRX invited me to go Sauger/Walleye fishing with him today in the upper end of Old Hickory ...

I was running a little late do to old outboard business ... Chris had already caught a couple of 13/14 inch Bass ... but he said it was kind of dead ... He met me at the ramp and we headed for honey hole waters ...

I figured in front of the on coming weather front this should have been a great day for Sauger... NOT SO !!! Chris said He has never been skunked ... But today was the first ...

Well it was a beautiful day ... Watched two fat Fox squirrels frolicking up and down a big Oak tree .. I thought ...Uummm some fresh fried squirrel would go great fried up to go with the Crock pot of White beans that was cooking at home ... And then I thought ... Naw! ... At 50 yards with my 357 S&W 2 1/2 inch barrel would be inhumane ..besides I was in a rocking boat ... And I would really like to give them a chance ...

I finally landed a five pound stripe ... I didn't bring my scale but I think it would go at least that .. What do you think ??... Life is good !!

By the way ... Thanks Chris !! <'TK><

I seem to be MUCH better at getting into hot water than getting out of it!
