Default Trout Stocking in Springfield

Anyone familiar where they are stocked in Springfield? I’m looking at the TWRA map and it shows them being stocked right above Blackwood Rd. When I look at google maps I don’t see any water above Blackwood Rd. I’m guessing that they are stocked at the Springfield Greenway right off 41…am I right?

I just got back from there.

They stocked below the spillway and above in Sulphur Fork Creek off 41 where the greenway runs beside it. I have spoke with TWRA about the map being wrong at least two different times but no one have ever fixed it after saying they would.

Not many were catching but me and my 3 year old were. She caught about 8 or so on a pink trout magnet.

That wasn't one of your pink trout magnets hanging in the tree at the dam, was it. I was up there yesterday. I caught my limit on white trout magnets. The fish they just stocked had not moved to my normal places where I catch them so I fished right below the dam. After all of this rain, it is no telling where the trout will be.

Not mine, someone else must have noticed the pink mag we had on or the guy that came over and fished next to us returned after we left.

Nice job on the limit, I tried white but they weren't interested that day. White or Bison seem to be my favorite most productive colors anywhere for anything.

It seems like every year right after they stock a big rain comes.
