Default new from Indiana

hello fellow fishermen I am from northern indiana and stumbled on to this forum and very impressed . I am running a few ideas thru my head on a vacation i would like to do next spring to summer . I am a die hard walleye guy and found a few posts on walleye & sauger in Tennessee . Can anyone give me a idea on how you guys fish and where for walleye ? I prefer to fish from a boat on lakes rather than rivers if possible. Would anyone be interested in taking me out . I would be willing to pay for all fuel and tackle . Not looking for a charter but just someone who Knows how to fish . I think i could give some good tips on catching walleye . any info would be great . looking for a place to stay also . on lake if possible .

Welcome to FishingTN from another Hoosier. I don't know much about Walleye fishing, I've only caught them by mistake in the rivers. I'll let someone else help you out there.

Same here. I caught one on accident in the Caney Fork one time haha. I do know that Center Hill and Dale Hollow lakes are two lakes known for Walleye. I don't know much about tactics though, there are a few on here who do. I'd start with google searching walleye fishing in those lakes and see what you come up with.

Welcome!

What part of Northern Indiana are you from? I grew up in Elkhart. Don't know anything about walleye and sauger but I've always got a seat open if you can't line something else up.

Welcome from another Hoosier (southeast near Cincinnati). I used to do well walleye fishing on Brookville Lake but can't seem to adapt the tactics for lake walleye fishing here.

I've become almost exclusively a river guy and am looking forward to fishing below the dams of the Cumberland this winter!
