old hickory lake fishing report 10/29/2013
I went out today and took my friend Lee with me.The day started off foggy for the first three hours so we fish the mouth of the cove in 8' of water trying just about everything with no luck. So we headed in to the back of the cove looking for live bait and with my 4' cast net got all the bait we needed for the day. We live line shad for the first half of the day with no takers then went back to casting cranks. We moved when the fog lifted and went up by the duck blind and found some bass and 8" shad. Lee was doing all the catching today and I was doing all nothing today and to make thing worse I got stung by a yellow jacket on my neck at the end of the day. Lee was using the new #6 shad rap in black and silver and I was using the #5 perch rap.So till the next time out.............woody
