Default Walleye fishing Center Hill at night

Went out for a handful of hours Saturday night trying to catch walleye dragging nightcrawlers on bottom just up lake from Eagle Creek/Long Branch Creek and didn't catch a single one. Couldn't keep bluegill off of the hook.

Thought the almost-full moon would bring them up but I couldn't find them.

As for bass there were a few working scattered pods of bait on the surface before dark.

I was pleasantly surprised with this smallmouth among the bluegill, though.

Alpha the gills were pretty good size one was a bit bigger than my hand and chunky. Some were shallow some were in 15' they were all over a gravel bar and aggressive.
