Default Steam Plant

Has anyone noticed all the new construction going on around the Gallatin Steam Plant canal? They are clearing land and from what I could see, seem to be building some kind of warehouses. I was wondering what they have done OR are going to do with the hatchery that they just refurbished there.

I believe Gallatin Fossil Plant is getting scrubber upgrades to maintain emissions compliance and remain operational as TVA shuts other fossil plants down. Have a few friends working on the project.

Gallatin, Kingston, Cumberland and Paradise are staying, most others are winding down.

Plus they are storing ash on site and cut the WMA to only around 200 acres.....

Sad, sad, sad

I havent been out towards Kingston since the coal ash mess, do othey have that plant operational again where it would benefit fisherman with the warm water discharge in the winter? Ive heard it hasnt been running in that manner since the spill.
THAT was a great place for stripers!

I figured it would cut down on the hunting there. I've always enjoyed watching all the deer and turkeys while fishing during the winter.

Hey as a matter of fact......

Last months was at Wood's. we caught the required 7 tournament fish. Took 4th place and would have been third but by .01 #!!!

The next tournament is Saturday morning but its on Tim's. I'm not sure if I'm going as that's 1.5 hours from my house and its from 6 am - 2 pm. Plus I have never been to Tim's and don't know anything about the lake other than everyone says know how to dock shoot. The next one on Normandy ill let ya know and you should come out for sure!

I fished with Tracy the last one as I didn't know where to go. He's a great guy! We had a good time. I ended up not going to the last tournament because of drive time and the rain. Ended up going with agelessone that afternoon and he worked with me on trolling cranks.
