Default Duck river into TN river

Anybody fished the area where the duck empties into the TN river? This would be just north of Cuba Landing

Last year a friend and I fished a two mile stretch about 2 miles above where it actually meets the TN. It is wide and shallow. We threw everything in the box and didn't get a strike.

Not to say that a different fisherman on a different day won't have different results.
