Default Kayak tournament pictures 9/10/2013

Here are some pictures from the kayak tournament at lock 3 ramp. I think the last picture would make a great Hook1 sign and let it read at the of the picture. Find out what you have been missing out on with HOOK1 Kayaks ..........woody

Thank you so much for the pictures this evening Woody. That last one is awesome. Blink, you should have introduced yourself with your screen name.

We had 12 show despite the weather. We paid out 4 spots with the winner receiving $78, and big fish earning $50. These are CPR tournaments so you turn in photos instead of the fish (this relieves a lot of stress from the fish), but not so much for the angler. It's tough to get it right. I lost mt identifier after a fish knocked it overboard and that meant I was done for.

The next event is September 24th on Percy Priest out of Smith Springs at 1700. If you would like to try it out and don't have a kayak let me know. I'm able to outfit a couple people.

Yes!! I love that area! I've got this one in my calendar and I 100% intend to be there after work. We'll see how those plans roll out but I'm going to do my best.

Yeah, i didnt think about it at the time.

I had fun. It was my first real fishing experience in a kayak, and i didnt swim, so i call it a success.

I have never fished JPP, but i am really interested in trying it out.
I should be there on the 24th.

I should be Game for the 24th. If you have an extra kayak I would love to try a real fishing kayak out. I also will need that scale you guys use, how much are they?

We use a Hawg Trough carried by Hook 1, not sure of the price around $10, we can get a few extra there if needed. Let me know for sure if you need a kayak, paddle, and pfd.
