old hickory lake fishing report 9/3/2013

I went back out today and the water temp was between 81. and 82.3 and the fish well they where there but not doing to much except the gills. There was a little bit of low laying fog on the water but it was gone within the hour. I tried a new color feather spinner bait and caught a small bass. I spent must of the morning fartin around waiting for it to warm up so I could get down to some good jigging with that dark blue flake space monkey and catch the one I had missed yesterday and I did. She was 18 3/4" and I didn't know what the weight was because I didn't want to stress the bass any more so I put her back where I found her in the water for someone else to catch.............woody

I ended up not going today but instead my uncle came in town from FL so we will try OH for a few hours Thursday. Maybe next Thurs I can join you at Lock 3.

Ya but you want to eat the bass I want it to get bigger and everyone knows where I released the bass in the water.LOL...................Woody
