Default Just finished three days on LittleRed

Just finished up three great days on the Little Red.Decided to also try my hand at learning how to really fly fish and not play at it.I used pink mini TM's and once I got it going I had a very good day.Caught around 20 on fly and one of them was around 18" and then lost one nice brown because I did not have dragged set right.
The rest of the time I used a 9' rod with 2lb test SOS line with a 2 lb test fluro leader and white TM's under the float. In three days , Lowell and I caught around 250.We explored a part of the river where folks usually do not go to fish and to our surprise, not the numbers in this section, but the size of fish are bigger and stronger.
Great trip for my 71st year.I have already planned another trip with the Sore-Lip guide this coming fall for another three days.
