Default Anyone fish priest recently

Morning guys, I'm thinking about heading to priest in a few hours and was wondering if anyone had been out recently and could give me any idea on what's going on with the bass fishing? I will be fishing out of Stewart's creek boat ramp.

Was on it last night. Caught 3 Skiers, 2 WakeBoarders, 12 Pontoons, 5 Jet Skis, and 3 WaveRunners. Hooked into a nice Tuber, but he broke off.

There was no wind but the water looked like the ocean from all the joy riders.
Got frustrated and went home early...

Well ifished for about 4 hours this afternoon and boat traffic was horrible like you were talking about. I just about got ran over by someone who did not know the rules of boating. I found a few schools of bass but they were all small. I caught 6 in about 5 minutes and then decided to leave because nothing was big. I caught one keeper on a d bomb and that was about it. I had about 7 fish role on my buzz bait but no takers. I switched to my frog and first cast had one boil on it but did not take it, I thought with the clouds the top water bite would be great. Sorry for run on sentences md one long paragraph I'm on the I pad.

My Buddy went back out there today and caught a nice Smallie. I couldn't take the choppiness and went to the store and to dinner. Might have to head out during the week to get away from the tidal waves.

ThAts a nice smallmouth! I stumble across a few of those Every noew and again. Mygrand father and I used to fish every spring for them with live shiners but I have not done that in years. I was surprised by the amount of boats today with the cloudy weather. It would be nice to go this week but I might be off to guntersville again this weekend.

I'm actually goin out to priest with my buddy in a week from now. I usually set out at seven points. We're going to try and catch some bass/catfish. But it's annoying when all those big boats come through basically right next to you and send all those big waves towards me. I have been out there plenty of times at viverette creek right around the "no wake zone" area and people will not even care. I was even fishing close to the bank and they would come close to me not that it was intentional but at the same time they have the whole lake to do the rec boating but they do it where there's people fishing.

Too bad we would get arrested for snagging some of these with a deep diving CB.
My uncle once cranked up his boat and chased a skier. Got within a few feet of him and the skier almost shite in his speedo.
