Default Trolling for Crappie on Percy Priest

Took my 11 year old son trolling for crappie on Percy Priest Lake yesterday and we had a blast. Managed to put several nice keeper slabs in the boat and a few yellow bass. We also caught some white bass and one largemouth but they were released. We filmed the trip on my sons GoPro Hero2 camera and I cut and edited it when we got home and posted it up on youtube. Here is a link below.

All fish were caught on 300 series Bandit crankbaits running approx. 12 feet deep in 13-18 foot of water at 1.5-2.0 mph on spinning rigs with 10lb mono. This is seriously easy and fun fishing. Give it a try guys.

Awesome! I like how when trolling for crappie you can get them to the surface then drag them along the water like a dead leaf haha. Good eating!

Were you using the outboard @ 2mph or the TM? Great video, thanks for sharing.

Hammy, we use the outboard motor and when a fish hooks up just hit the kill button. It is really simple fishing. Depth and speed are critical though.
