Thumbs up old hickory lake fishing report 7/25/2013

Another nice day on the water thank GOD. I started off with the smallest kastmaster under a float about 18" to 24" and this time I replace the treble hook with a single hook witch made it easy to unhook the fish. I caught white bass, yellow bass, catfish and largemouth. Then I used a 4" white swim bait by zoom and caught largemouth and then I used a scatter rap and caught largemouth and something real big that I tried to get up off the bottom and could not slow it down until it pulled free and I lost it, but it was a lot of fun trying to get it in. I also used my 6" black lizard and hook and lost at the boat about 3 more bass and that made a my day.......................woody P.S. I use 15lb braid

There was a lot of feeding going on in the middle of secondary channels while we were out the other day. Burned my crankbait through it a few times and pulled in a big crappie and a couple little bass.
